So, today I googled Emanuel, a band I in another failed attempt to better learn just who is who in the band. I found an article about them on aversion.com that was written by someone who clearly has too much anger at "scene" followers. After ranting on and on and on about how the "group mindset" of the hipsters/scenesters/trendfollowers is so stupid and how Emanuel is a reaction to that and how annoying it is when people by the album just cause it's "cool" they say this:

"Hipsters, take cover. You’ve pissed Emanuel off, and if the band has anything to say about it, Soundtrack to a Headrush might be enough to start convincing your peers how stupid the punk-as-scene thing has become."

That was their conclusion. Maybe it's just me but that kind of sounds like they're saying BUY THIS ALBUM because it's so cool! Not so different from the people they despise eh?

My conclusion: People are silly. Don't hate anything too hard because you just might become it.
